Papart’s Diner and Café: Unexpected treat

Papart’s Diner and Café: Unexpected treat

It was when I cannot sleep and I really wanted to enjoy the last few hours of my weekend when I decided to visit the Papart’s Diner and Café. I actually received an invitation to join their launching last November 8, 2016, but for some unfortunate reasons, I wasn’t able to attend because of the conflict of my schedule.

The newly opened Papart’s Diner and Café located at the Maroo Arcade, beside Big Hotel Suites in Mandaue City is definitely satisfying!

From the time you step into the entrance up until the end of your meal, you will be accommodated as if you were their last customer. The staff are very accommodating and hospitable. You feel like you are at home and it seems like you already knew everyone for a long time.

You will also be amazed because the rates aren’t expensive. Take note, the typical quote, “You get what you pay for” does not apply here, instead, “You get more than you paid for”, and that’s true.

Talking about their dishes, although I wasn’t able to taste everything they have but I got the chance to taste some of their best sellers – It is absolutely best-selling for me!

The first best-selling dish they offered was the Flying Chicken Wings with Calamansi Garlic Butter sauce. The dish has 6 pieces Fried Chicken Wings. What made it stand out from other restaurant is that, the sauce is not a typical soy sauce we always see on restaurants, but a special sauce (which I recommend to you guys if you buy one). The prefect blend of the chicken and the sauce feels like you’ll be craving for it as much as you crave for your boyfriend/girlfriend’s kiss. And the rate is really affordable. It only costs php99.00.

The next dish was the Shrimp Platter (250g of soft and juicy shrimps) with a very unique sauce called Hot Arcadia. The sauce was named after the French-speaking Acadian people deported by the British from Acadia in Canada to the Acadiana region of Louisiana who first discovered the Cajune Cuisine – Usually a three-pot affair, with one dedicated steamed rice, special made sausages, or some seafood dish, and the third containing whatever vegetable is plentiful or available (Woah! History! Thanks, Wikipedia for this additional knowedge!).

The sauce tastes so good, so good that you’ll even dare to lick the plate clean and would ask for more. Highly addictive, indeed! Of course, the rest of the information I googled is because of my curiosity. This dish costs php200.00.

The dessert they offered me was surprising! I only saw that dessert on the cafés I’ve been before. The Lovin’ Mocha filled with yummy chocolates on the toppings only costs php80.00! Way cheaper than that of the cafés.

There’s a lot more dishes you guys should try! Visit now and fill your hungry tummies extraordinarily well!
